Donald J. Bacon is a retired United States Air Force Brigadier General and a member of the Republican Party.
Bacon is a native of Illinois.〔 He attended Northern Illinois University and then gained his commission through Officers' Training School. During his career he served as the Installation Commander for Ramstein Airbase in Germany and at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska.
